This will be an evening of tasting amazing, small production beers from some of the highest quality breweries in the world and eating some of the most delicious traditional Czech beer snacks that can be found in Prague. With a long established history of beer making, the Czechs are the standard bearers of the craft. For over 1000 years Czech beer has been supported by Kings, embraced wholeheartedly by the people, looked after with a loving touch by skilled brew masters, and gained respect the world over.
Come with us as we put a frosty mug in your hand and fill it with some of the most amazing, robust lagers and stouts you will ever have the privilege to taste. No large factory multinational beers on this tour, we promise ;-) It’s all about the local small breweries in downtown Prague! Also included are taster snacks of some of the local specialities with great stories behind them - your guide will entertain you while you taste them all!
We will start the tour in a centuries old beer hall where they still brew their own beer right in the middle of Prague’s, in one of the oldest parts of the city! These small breweries are normally not known and often overlooked by the average visitor to Prague will give you an intro on the interesting history of Czech beer and the snacks that go with it, along with the fun facts of beer drinking in Czech culture.
Your guide will tell you about the current situation of beer making in the country, and let you enjoy a few top-notch varieties of delicious Czech craft beer. Amidst all of the beer fun we’ll also get into the particulars of what Czech cuisine is, considered by many to be some of the most hearty food around.
We’ll then head to another fantastic micro-gastro-pub just around the corner so we can sample some award winning lagers from one of the most heralded brew masters in Europe. You’ll be blown away by the high quality and freshness along with a great ambience and presentation as we taste the beer. The waiter will bring a robust platter of traditional Czech beer snacks from a local chef that let’s you try what Czechs like to eat along with their beer. (These taster platters are not equivalent to a full dinner).

Our Beer walking tours are small personal groups and generally do not have more than 8 participants, making them interactive and personal and giving you plenty of chances to ask questions and get to know your guide plus hit them up for local tips of where to go and what else to do

Exclusions: Any drinks or food purchased BEYOND the beer already included in our tour, entry fees to sights and museums, transport to the meeting point or from the conclusion point, gratuity/tip.
Infant & Children Policy
No infants allowed on tour.
Must be 18 years or older in order to try the beers! No one under 18 years of age allowed on tour without adult supervision.
Kids are half adult price for food trying.
- Participants will need to be fit for light continuous walking, for up to 3 hours.
- Tour goes in all weather conditions so please dress appropriately. Supplier not responsible for unforeseen delays or accidents or losses / damages.
- Programs cancelled within 72 hours of travel date incur 100% cancellation penalty where no refunds are given.
- No show or non-participation on tour/program will not be refunded.
